Meet Katie, TheVintageAcademic
Transfer Consultant and Social Media Marketing Assistant
Katie Ibsen is a junior transfer student at UC Berkeley studying Anthropology with an emphasis in Mesoamerican Archeology and Public Anthropology. Katie is dedicated to community accountable projects and furthering the mission of increasing access to higher education for non-traditional community college transfer students.
As a transfer student herself, Katie obtained various associates degrees while at Sacramento City College and dreamt of one day continuing her education at her grandmother’s alma mater, UC Berkeley. As Accepted Consulting’s first ever client, Katie gained admission to Cal and has sought to use her experience to inspire others to do the same. With her YouTube channel and Instagram, Katie has connected with hundreds of students, providing valuable informational content and vlogs detailing her journey.
Katie joined Accepted Consulting in January, 2021 and will be pivotal in the development of various services and community college outreach initiatives alongside the rest of the team.
