MEET Crystal Robertson

Graduate Admissions Consultant (Social Sciences)

Crystal Robertson is a Political Science PhD student at the University of California, Los Angeles. In 2019 Crystal obtained her BA in Political Science from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor with high honors. Her research examines the role of social identities and their intersections in public opinion of social movements.  Her current work examines Black women’s experiences and perception of the Movement for Black Lives. More broadly her research interests include racial politics, Black-Latinx inter-group relations and coalitions, intersectionality, Black feminist politics, and social movements. 

Crystal is passionate about making education accessible to marginalized communities and unveiling the hidden curriculum of academia. She joins the Accepted Consulting team eager to welcome clients of varying backgrounds and experience levels and support them on their academic journey.
